Children Loved The Heated Pool

I stayed at the Cow Palace Inn from May 12th through the 14th along with my husband and three children. The service was great, front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and were rented at a really great price. The children loved the heated pool and tge hot tub was just what we needed after traveling. The restaurant had very friendly waitstaff and the food was great. Next time we drive through Lamar, CO. we will absolutely be staying at the Cow Palace Inn.

Wedding At The Cow Palace

My wife, Ashley and I held our wedding at the Cow Palace on June 7. The staff was very courteous, very knowledgeable, and very hard working. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime.

The food is delicious whether you stay for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or host an event to be catered by their food service. Because of their willingness to help, our wedding was as stress free as possible and ran extremely smoothly.

Great Place To Spend A Night

This place just keeps getting better everytime we stay. The room was clean. the beds were soooo comfortable. The courtyard is so wonderful with the tropical plants. The staff is so friendly and kind. It was great. The Owner, management and staff are to be commended on what they have done to this hotel. It just keeps getting better since the new ownership took over a few years ago.

Friendly And The Courtyard Is Awesome

We stay here every chance we get. The people here are very friendly and the courtyard is awesome. They have been doing a lot of upgrades and renovation over the last year or so and the hotel looks better everytime we go. The rooms are nice and are very clean and smell good. Plus the price is very reasonable. The dining area and restaurant are very nice and clean. I would recommend this to any travellers.

Always A Clean Room And Friendly Staff

I travel across country on a regular basis, and I have stayed here numerous times. Always a clean room and friendly staff as well as good food for breakfast and dinner at a reasonable price. The hotel offers a $3.00 voucher for breakfast which is nice…. Most hotels with continental “breakfast” are a joke- you end up stopping 1 hr later to eat anyway. Stayed full to Greeley off mine. It is an older hotel, but they keep it up very well- worth the stop. Also, I had trouble getting my vehicle started this morning- didn’t even have to ask. The manager was out with jumper cables in the snow with a smile- its in the details.

Very Convenient For What I Need

I am from Denver, Co and all of my children, grandchildren and other family members live in Lamar,Co. I stay at the Cow Palace Inn every time I go to Lamar. Each time I go it seems like they have improved with what they have to offer. They have the restaurant, bar, Latte bar and Ice Cream Parlor all in the same place so I don’t have to venture out very far. They have a pool and hot tub so I just invite the kiddos and the fun begins. Very convenient for what I need. I have to compliment the staff for their kind hospitality. They make you fell right at home. So thanks to Doug Thrall and his partners and staff for a job well done.

Perfect For An Overnight During Our Road Trip

The in house restaurant was a life saver after a long day of driving and before another. We managed to find an excellent salad among a meat heavy menu, the pool and hot tub were completely empty before bed and again in the morning which was great for us, and they were happy to host my dog for ten bucks extra. I would stay there again.

Great Restaurant On Site

Nice clean rooms reasonably priced. The only reason there were not 5’s all the way down was that the air in our room really never did cool down the room & it was turned down as low as it would go. We did not complain because we thought it would eventually cool down & just didn’t want to mess with moving our stuff, but I am sure if we had we would have been moved. The air worked perfectly in the room of our other family members next door. The front desk girls were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The place was clean & had a restaurant on site as well as a small sports bar area and an area where you could get ice cream or speciality coffees. There is no free breakfast but you do get discount off coupons for each guest that can be used in their restaurant. They offered a buffet or you could order from the menu which we did. You won’t be disappointed by the breakfast, each one was huge and not only delicious but i don’t think any were over $10 before using your coupon of $3. There was a nice indoor pool with plants to make it have a little of a tropical feel however we did not have time to enjoy it. If ever in the area again we would make sure to stay here.

Great Bed, Amazing Pool, Kid Friendly

We stayed last night! The beds were very comfy and the pool was amazing…..actually was deep enough for adults to swim 9ft crazy!! Hot tub needed cleaned but in the area its in with clinate understandable! The rooma were clean but the ones by the pool were very moist bedding and such was damp but understandable. Only complaint was when I called to book the girl answered and I asked if she had rooms avaliable I understand being full full and not knowing but we came up on it while I was on hold so stopped in they were not close to full. I was on hold long enough for it to ring back and then it still rang forever…..so I went in and she looked it right up. Thr front desk could be a bit more friendly night girl wasnt bad but the morning girl was to busy carring on a conversation on the phone. Personal from the conversation.I heard. Still yet very nice hotel and pool beds were amazing. Shower was nice n clean….Nice set up in rooms also. The outside dont look fancy but dont pass it up its very nice I promise!!! You can tell they have been trying to remodel….loved the brands on the floor as you walk in the doors also. If your a country person you will love it!

Very Accommodating

6 motorcyclists piled in after a hot day coming from Lubbock; owner let us park the bikes inside overnight at his request! Food and drinks were just as good-as was the pool and ice cream. I would stop again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Stay

Great place to stay! Wonderful beds, friendly / helpful staff and very reasonably priced. We had a handicap room and it was easily large enough for a wheelchair in both the room & the roll-in shower. Impressive banquet area near the beautiful pool. Very nice restaurant for smaller groups, too. We enjoyed our stay.

Has Everything You Want

Worth the stop has everything you want. Very nice restaurant, they have a new coffee and ice cream parlor, nice club area and the rooms area comfortable . and Friday nights is their Mexican buffet night – yummy.
